Coefficient of Friction Tester

Suitable for measuring the static and kinetic coefficients of friction (COF) of materials during sliding, including plastic films and sheets, rubber, paper, paperboard, woven bags, fabric styles, metal composite tapes for communication cables, conveyor belts, wood, coatings, brake pads, windshield wipers, shoe materials, wheels, and tires.
The specimen is cut into two pieces: one is fixed on the test platform with a clamp, and the other wraps around the sled. The sled is then attached to the sensor's hook. Under the traction force, the sled moves, causing relative motion between the two test surfaces. The force signal detected by the sensor is amplified and recorded to calculate and display both the static and kinetic coefficients of friction simultaneously.
